We are seeking a top-tier Foreman – Irrigation Technician to help us build a trusted reputation from the ground up.

 

Position Summary:

As the Foreman – Irrigation Technician, you will lead a skilled crew in executing precision irrigation installations for high-value properties across the Grand Valley. You’ll be the on-site expert, ensuring systems are not only functional but flawlessly installed to match the expectations of our luxury clientele. This role is hands-on, leadership-focused, and ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and thrives in a dynamic, high-accountability environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and actively participate in high-end irrigation system installations for custom homes, estates, and commercial properties.

• Read and interpret landscape plans, irrigation blueprints, and specifications with attention to technical accuracy and aesthetic impact.

• Ensure proper system layout, component installation (valves, piping, controllers, heads), and system calibration.

• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on existing irrigation systems, ensuring timely and lasting solutions.

• Serve as the main on-site contact, professionally communicating with property owners, landscape architects, and subcontractors.

• Train and direct crew members, enforcing quality standards and safety protocols.

• Manage job site logistics including materials, scheduling, and project flow.

• Handle day-to-day operational tasks with professionalism—whether it’s coordinating with suppliers, addressing last-minute site needs, or resolving unexpected issues with creativity and composure.

• Ensure all work meets local codes, industry standards, and client expectations.
   

 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in irrigation installation and maintenance (residential and commercial).

• 1+ years in a supervisory or foreman-level role.

• Extensive knowledge of modern irrigation systems, including smart controllers, efficient water delivery, and advanced system design.

• Experience working with high-end or custom-built properties is highly preferred.

• Ability to read plans, operate machinery, and use a variety of hand and power tools.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards of quality.

• Valid Colorado driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Preferred: Relevant certifications such as CIT (Certified Irrigation Technician), CLIA (Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor), or similar.
